Welcome to math!  I think math is fun, exciting and interesting.  We will do the usual math things, but we will also use calculators every day, go to the computer lab and use neat programs like Excel and Geometers Sketchpad, and do fun, interesting and educational projects.  Some classes will research careeers and the math needed, some will use digital cameras to find geometric shapes in the world around us, and some will research data to create excel graphs.
